SPS leader Ivica Dacic says Boris Tadic's Democrats (DS) - "the strongest part of a potential coalition" - are "ntitled to the office of prime minister". "I expect from DS leader Boris Tadic to resume the talks on the forming of parliamentary majority that were opened on May 8," Dacic said on Friday. Dacic: DS "entitled" to office of PM He added that Tadic had not informed him yet as to whether he would accept to be a candidate for the future prime minister. Addressing reporters shortly before the Socialists (SPS) held a session of the party presidency session, Dacic said that there was no dilemma as to who the SPS-PUPS-JS coalition, he is the leader of, would like to create a majority with in the parliament, and confirmed he had discussed the issue only with the DS. "We have no dilemmas. There are no debatable issues, we are just waiting and urging the DS to speed up the process. We have nothing against a possible agreement between the DS and the Serbian Progressive Party, but there would be no space for us in such a government," Dacic noted. "We also would not be against any other type of coalition," he added. "The situation is such that we cannot expect a quick formation of the new government, but I do not expect any drama. Everyone should do their part of the job until the government is formed," Dacic concluded, stressing that Friday's session of the SPS Presidency was called to discuss "election results and what kind of government the SPS wants".
