The Democratic Party on Monday decided to dissolve its city council in Belgrade, along with councils in 11 of 17 capital city municipalities, Beta has reported. This came as a consequence of "poor election results in the second round of the presidential election", said the news agency. According to unofficial results, Tadic received 47.35 percent of the vote, against Nikolic's 49.51 percent. The Democrats have also scheduled a session of the party's presidency for late on Monday.
