Police have arrested a five-member group suspected of dealing narcotics and weapons in the Belgrade neighborhoods of Višnjička banja and Karaburma.

Police have arrested a five-member group suspected of dealing narcotics and weapons in the Belgrade neighborhoods of Visnjicka banja and Karaburma. “Petar Jankovic, 23, Dragan Stankovic, 36, Milos Masic, 23 and two underage persons were arrested on suspicion of committing criminal acts of illegal production and sale of narcotics, carrying and sale of weapons and explosives,” Interior Minister Ivica Dacic said on Monday. Belgrade police arrest five drug dealers According to him, there is reasonable doubt that the criminal group was organized by Jankovic and that Masic and the two underage persons were in charge of the street sale. The minister added that Jankovic, Masic and the two underage persons were arrested after buying 100 grams of heroin from Stankovic. Dacic said that around three kilograms of heroin, 13 grams of cocaine, two guns, two electronic scales, a paracetamol mixture and other drug paraphernalia were found in Stankovic’s possession. Jankovic, Masic and Stankovic were remanded in custody for 30 days. The interior minister added that the two underage persons were taken to the Higher Court in Belgrade’s juvenile judge. According to him, there is reasonable doubt that the criminal group was organized by Janković and that Mašić and the two underage persons were in charge of the street sale.

The minister added that Janković, Mašić and the two underage persons were arrested after buying 100 grams of heroin from Stanković.

Dačić said that around three kilograms of heroin, 13 grams of cocaine, two guns, two electronic scales, a paracetamol mixture and other drug paraphernalia were found in Stanković’s possession.

Janković, Mašić and Stanković were remanded in custody for 30 days.

The interior minister added that the two underage persons were taken to the Higher Court in Belgrade’s juvenile judge.
