The Republic Electoral Commission (RIK) rejected Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) leader Tomislav Nikolic’s election fraud complaint. The Commission also rejected his request to annul the elections on all levels. Electoral commission rejects Nikolic’s complaint RIK said that the SNS leader failed to provide any evidence that would support his claims of the election theft. As a reason for the annulment of the elections, the SNS stated a sack containing ballots which had been found in a dumpster but RIK assessed that the Progressives did not provide evidence that would back the allegations. RIK rejected Nikolic’s complaint with 11 votes in favor and three votes against. RIK President Predrag Grgic has announced that he would submit Nikolic’s complaint to the prosecution. RIK Secretary Veljko Odalovic stressed that a presidential candidate could only request the annulment of the presidential elections and not all the elections. Electoral commission rejects Nikolić’s complaint

RIK said that the SNS leader failed to provide any evidence that would support his claims of the election theft.
