Ruling Democratic Party (DS) Vice-President Jelena Trivan said on Wednesday that voters would create Serbia’s future at the May 6 election. She added that they alone would decide whether they would choose the people who will lead the country into war and get its citizens drafted, or those who would ensure peace, security and prosperity. Voters will choose between war and peace, claims DS Trivan told the audience at a DS rally that she could imagine a situation in which people sitting in the president's office or the government determined whether a response to barricades is Kosovo was a draft or cooling of tensions. "The responsibility is on all of us," said Trivan, stressing that for her the main topics of the campaign would be young people and women. These were the main topics of the DS youth caravan which visited Velika Plana and Smederevska Palanka on Wednesday, where Trivan said that in the future these two groups must not be remembered just during election campaigns.
