Defense teams file appeal in Taton case

Defense counsels of men convicted of murder of French football fan Brice Taton in Belgrade, 2009 have filed an appeal with the Constitutional Court of Serbia. “The Constitutional Court is urged to order a retrial to the Appellate Court in Belgrade,” said one of the lawyers, Zora Dobricanin. Defense teams file appeal in Taton case “The constitutional appeal denies the rulings of both the Appellate Court and the Belgrade District Court due to numerous infringements of human rights of the defendants, particularly for not considering the transcript of a telephone call by a person who called the ambulance and reported that Taton fell over the fence i.e. that he was not thrown over,” she added.
