Democratic Party (DS) deputy leader Jelena Trivan has stated that the government must not be arrogant and deny feelings of the citizens. She added that it should always be ready to apologize for its mistakes. "We as a party have indeed made one great mistake. We were dishonest with our voters and did not tell them an unstoppable economic crisis was approaching our country. Commenting DS official and Inđija Mayor Goran Ješić that the DS should apologize to its supporters for the mistakes it made, Trivan told daily Politika that it would be arrogant to say that everyone was doing their job well and that nothing could have been better.
