Kosovo talks to resume on Thursday The Serbian side "will do everything to reach an agreement on Kosovo's regional representation", he was quoted as saying. "The talks will continue tomorrow morning. The situation is very difficult, and these are difficult negotiations," stated Stefanovic. Serbia's position remains to find an acceptable solution in line with UN Security Council Resolution 1244, he added. In a statement for Tanjug news agency, however, Stefanovic said that "certain progress had been made, but the ultimate outcome will not be known until tomorrow". There has been a certain convergence of views on the implementation of the technical protocol for administrative crossings but not on all of them, Stefanovic told journalists while leaving the EU headquarters, and added that the talks will continue tomorrow. When it comes to Kosovo's presentation at regional meetings, Stefanovic said that there is not much disagreement in that respect any more, but that the hardest steps are made at the end. He also said that significant progress was made when it comes to the implementation of the agreements on registers and freedom of movement, which were reached earlier. When asked whether he believes that tomorrow's round of talks will lead to a favorable result, Stefanovic replied positively. Chief of the Pristina team Edita Tahiri did not wish to address reporters. The EU-sponsored Kosovo dialogue has been ongoing for the past year. The latest round is described as decisive for Serbia's bid to become candidate for EU membership.
