Snow and very low temperatures have continued to cause trouble in the entire Western Balkans region. The weather has caused five deaths in Croatia, where it was snowing again on Monday and certain areas were without power. The Golubovci airport in Montenegro's capital Podgorica was closed at 10 a.m. on Monday because of a blizzard. According to the weather forecast, a new cold wave is expected to hit Montenegro, accompanied by snow, low temperatures and strong wind. Macedonia has also experienced problems because of snow. Road traffic has been difficult, with around 50 villages getting cut off, but the railway and air traffic have so far been fairly regular.
