President Boris Tadic on Monday acted in his role as leader of the ruling Democrats (DS) and met with the Alliance of Independent Trade Unions of Serbia (SSS). According to reports, he and other top party officials "discussed the economic situation in the country and experience in the cooperation between the government and the unions, but the two sides did not consider the issue of potential political cooperation."
