Self-Determination Movement activists have blocked one traffic lane on the road leading to the Merdare crossing and a road leading to the Bela Zemlja crossing. Around 1,500 protesters blocked the road to Gnjilane near the the Bela Zemlja crossing around 13:00 CET on Sunday. K. Several Self-Determination Movement leaders are among the protesters led by Glauk Konjufca. Kosovo police have set up numerous checkpoints on the road and they are checking IDs of all the citizens. The police are distributing brochures to the citizens, informing them about the rules that they need to respect during the protest. The police officers have several times asked the protesters to leave. In the meantime, not a single truck or a car from central Serbia has been allowed to go through. The Self-Determination Movement Albin Kurti said earlier on Sunday that the protest would be peaceful and called on the police not to “interfere”. Several Self-Determination Movement leaders are among the protesters led by Glauk Konjufca.
