Croatian court drops charges against JNA pilots

Dubrovnik Municipal Court has dropped charges against former Yugoslav People’s Army (JNA) pilots for the bombing of Dubrovnik. The JNA pilots were charged with crimes against humanity and the bombing of Dubrovnik, Higher Court in Podgorica has released. He told Podgorica-based daily Dan that the Dubrovnik Municipal Court had dropped charges against three Montenegrin pilots, Zoran Slavuljica, Miodrag Atanackovic and Asim Pandzic, and 24 other pilots from Serbia, Macedonia and Slovenia who were stationed at Golubovci military airport. Croatian court drops charges against JNA pilots

Higher Court in Podgorica Judge Radomir Ivanović has said that he received a confirmation from Dubrovnik that the case had been dropped.

He told Podgorica-based daily Dan that the Dubrovnik Municipal Court had dropped charges against three Montenegrin pilots, Zoran Slavuljica, Miodrag Atanacković and Asim Pandžić, and 24 other pilots from Serbia, Macedonia and Slovenia who were stationed at Golubovci military airport.

Ivanović added that the Croatian arrest warrant for the pilots had been withdrawan after the decision to drop charges against them had been made.
