Interior Minister Ivica Dacic says Serbia's MUP will provide all assistance to the Serb Republic regarding weapons and explosives found in Banja Luka. The weapons were found on Sunday afternoon inside the Borik sports venue ahead of the celebration of the 20th anniversary of the founding of the Serb entity in Bosnia. Dacic - who along with President Boris Tadic and PM Mirko Cvetkovic attended the celebrations - said that he was in constant contact with his RS counterpart Stanislav Cadjo related to the case. Dacic said that Cadjo informed him about the found weapons an explosives before the beginning of the Monday celebration and that security measures were therefore intensified. The RS Interior Ministry was conducting a routine search of the venue and did not act on a tip-off when they found the arms cache, it was announced in Banja Luka on Tuesday.

Dačić - who along with President Boris Tadić and PM Mirko Cvetković attended the celebrations - said that he was in constant contact with his RS counterpart Stanislav Čađo related to the case.

Dačić said that Čađo informed him about the found weapons an explosives before the beginning of the Monday celebration and that security measures were therefore intensified.

Investigation is underway, Dačić said, noting that the gathering on Monday in Banja Luka passed without any security problems.
