He published a book called American Sniper and told British Daily Star that he was only sorry about his fellow soldiers. U.S. soldier who killed 255 "has no regrets" “My enemy are nothing but savages. My regrets are for the people I couldn’t save, marines, soldiers, buddies. I stand before God with a clear conscience,” Kyle noted. He has been shot twice, blown up six times and had a USD 20,000 bounty put on his head. Kyle served four tours in Iraq. His most notorious shot was from 1,900 meters outside Sadr City. Word spread so quickly about his skills that when he was stationed in the city of Ramad insurgents called him Al Shaita Ramad – The Devil Of Ramad. His fellow soldiers had other nicknames for him, including The Terminator. The previous U.S. record of 109 kills was set by Staff Sgt Adelbert F. Waldron in the Vietnam War. The deadliest marksman in the world was Finnish soldier Simo Hayha, who killed 542 Soviet troops during WWII. Chris Kyle Tanjug
