Police in Albania said they confiscated a total of one ton of cannabis in separate raids in the towns of Durres and Saranda. At the same time, they arrested two drug smugglers, said reports. Ton of cannabis seized in Albania On Monday evening, police discovered 700 kilograms of marijuana in the port of Durres, that was about to be shipped to Italy. 300 more kilograms were found in Saranda, meant to be sold in Greece. Several persons were also arrested on Monday elsewhere in northern Albania, on suspicion of involvement in drug trafficking. Ton of cannabis seized in Albania

On Monday evening, police discovered 700 kilograms of marijuana in the port of Durres, that was about to be shipped to Italy.

300 more kilograms were found in Saranda, meant to be sold in Greece.

Several persons were also arrested on Monday elsewhere in northern Albania, on suspicion of involvement in drug trafficking.
