German Chancellor Angela Merkel’s visit to German soldiers in Kosovo does not put additional pressure on Belgrade, Media Office chief Milivoje Mihajlovic says. He said that her visit could rather be a good opportunity to exert pressure on Pristina so that it would not obstruct the continuation of the dialogue. Merkel's visit “not additional pressure on Belgrade” Mihajlovic told B92 that Merkel's visit would not place additional pressure on Belgrade as Serbia had clearly shown its position regarding the solving of the situation in Kosovo. "I believe this is an opportunity to exert pressure on Pristina so that it would not obstruct the continuation of the dialogue with Belgrade. If the EU, above all Germany, wants the dialogue to work, and the situation in Kosovo and Metohija to be resolved, this is a good opportunity to warn Pristina that any further obstruction of the dialogue would be harmful for the very situation in Kosovo," the Media Office chief stressed.
