Serbian President Boris Tadic continued on Saturday his official two-day visit to Macedonia by conferring with the representatives of the Serbian community. He also visited the Serbian cultural-education and information center Vuk Karadzic in Kuceviste, and the St. Cyril and Methodius elementary school. Tadic meets with Serbian community in Macedonia The Serbian president will lay a wreath at the monument honoring the Serbian soldiers killed in the Battle of Kumanovo in 1912 in the town of Zebrnjak. Tadic is ending his visit to Macedonia with meetings with the Serbian community. He conferred on Friday with Macedonia's top officials, and took part in the Serbian-Macedonian Business Forum. The talks held and the messages conveyed by Tadic and his Macedonian counterpart and host Gjorge Ivanov had a strong response in the Macedonian public. All electronic and print media in Skopje extensively reported on the Serbian president's visit, pointing out that the two presidents had said that, despite all obstacles, both countries' future was in the EU. “The burning issues of Macedonia's constitutional name and the issue of Kosovo make Serbia and Macedonia allies in the efforts to explain to the EU that those are crucial matters where no concessions are possible,” Channel 5 TV assessed, reporting Tadic's statement.
