The Serbian parliament noted Deputy Prime Minister Bozidar Djelic’s resignation on Thursday. Djelic resigned after Serbia had failed to get the EU candidate status on December 9. Parliament notes deputy PM’s resignation Even though he had the right to state the reasons for his resignation, Djelic did not attend the session. Serbian MPs will on Thursday debate 18 bills, including draft amendments to the Law on the Unified Register of Voters. Also on the agenda are proposed changes to the laws on housing, the Business Registers Agency, joint-stock companies and insurance. At the fifth sitting of the fall session, parliament members will also debate bills on the film industry and the registration procedure with the Business Registers Agency, as well as four bills concerning new borrowing on the part of Serbia.
