Water polo players of the reigning European champion, Belgrade's Partizan, won the trophy at the 2011 European Super Cup. They on Thursday evening defeating Italy's Savona in an away game that ended 11-6 (3-2, 4-1, 3-1, 1-2). For the Serbian champion, this has been a brilliant finish to 2011, during which they enriched their collection with five trophies. This year, Partizan won the Euroleague, the Serbian Championship and the Serbian Cup, the Euro Inter League and finally the European Super Cup on Thursday evening.
