Serbia is stuck and those running the government are the most responsible for that, United Regions of Serbia (URS) leader Mladjan Dinkic has said. He told daily Vecernje novosti that the situation in the country was even worse than the moment he had left the government. According to him, the URS’ goal is to take on of the top three places in the next elections. URS leader says Serbia is “stuck” Dinkic added that the URS would only take part in the next government if it had a chance to affect its work. “Serbia needs to get moving,” he stressed and announced that the URS election campaign would begin in Belgrade on Sunday. Dinkic said that he would present a program at the Sunday rally that would focus on three things – decentralization, agriculture and economy. He pointed out that citizens had every right to be disappointed. “It is obvious that Serbia now not only needs a new government, but a new, life policy that will change the system. We should look up to the 70s and the 80s when there was order and when the society was more humane and more just. Serbia needs a policy that will take care of an ordinary individual,” the URS leader was quoted as saying. Mladjan Dinkic (Tanjug, file)
