Belgrade city bus kills two people

A Belgrade city bus this evening struck and fatally injured two people in the Zvezdara municipality, it has been confirmed. The victims are a 19-year-old man and a 22-year-old woman, the medical emergency services said. The bus then first hit and killed the man, and later the woman, stopping only when it hit a tree. Eyewitnesses said that the young woman who died of her injuries was walking with her sister, and that she managed to push her away before the bus hit her, thus likely saving her sister's life. Zvezdara Municipal President Milan Popovic and Belgrade Mayor Dragan Djilas were both visited the scene of the incident this evening.
