Kosovo Albanian PM Hashim Thaci will not press charges against Council of Europe Special Rapporteur Dick Marty, said Thaci's associates in Pristina. The Swiss senator's report on illegal human organ trafficking in Kosovo and Albania named Thaci and his ethnic Albanian KLA as perpetrators of atrocities targeting Serb and other non-Albanian civilians in Kosovo. Thaci decides not to sue Council of Europe official Thaci's deputy, Hajredin Kuci, confirmed that Thaci is "not included" in the investigation into Marty's allegation which was recently launched by an European Union, EU, special team. "The investigation and trial procedures are underway. We should wait for the outcome," Kuci said, according to Pristina-based Albanian language daily Koha Ditore. Marty's immunity expired after he ended his political career as the Council of Europe member last month, according to the report. Commenting Marty's withdrawal from public life, Swiss media said that we are yet to see whether Kosovo Prime Minister Hashim Thaci and other politicians will keep their promise and press charges against Marty for "slander and falsification" once his immunity in the Swiss parliament expires.
