A session of the Serbian parliament dedicated to Kosovo, previously scheduled for Wednesday, November 2, will likely be postponed for Friday, November 4. This has been confirmed for B92 in Belgrade on Monday. Parliament session on Kosovo to be postponed The reason is the government's intention to accompany its report on the situation in the province with another document, "which will also containing some conclusions regarding the policy on Kosovo". On Tuesday in Belgrade, the Parliamentary Committee for Kosovo and Metohija will meet to discuss the government report, sent to parliament last week. Speaker Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic is expected to schedule the session after the committee takes its stand on the report. She on Monday stated that the parliament session on the situation in Kosovo and Metohija "will be scheduled probably for next week". The session cannot be held on Wednesday for technical reasons, Djukic-Dejanovic told Tanjug. Quoting its government sources, Tanjug news agency is reporting today that Serbian government is in fact preparing a declaration on Kosovo, which should be presented to parliament this week. Meanwhile its report presented last week accused NATO and EU missions in Kosovo of "placing themselves in the service of Pristina", i.e., the Kosovo Albania authorities.

The session cannot be held on Wednesday for technical reasons, Đukić-Dejanović told Tanjug.

Quoting its government sources, Tanjug news agency is reporting today that Serbian government is in fact preparing a declaration on Kosovo, which should be presented to parliament this week.

Meanwhile its report presented last week accused NATO and EU missions in Kosovo of "placing themselves in the service of Priština", i.e., the Kosovo Albania authorities.
