The main hearing in the case of drivers of Raska-based Eurokop company will be held in on Wednesday, one of the defense lawyers Miodrag Brkljac told Tanjug. The truck drivers were remanded in custody last week on suspicion of illegal entry to Kosovo. Main hearing in truck drivers case to be held Wednesday Brkljac expects that drivers will be released. "I expect that the hearing will end in a way that all of them will be imposed minimum fines of EUR 250 and higher, after which they will be set free," he stressed. He added that drivers were held in prisons in Gnjilane, Lipljan and probably in Pristina. EULEX Spokeswoan Irina Gudeljevic told Tanjug that EULEX would supervise the case. “We have not received any official requests for taking over the case of 13 drivers in Kosovska Mitrovica. Our judiciary has made a decision to supervise and advise local colleagues in terms of this case, but we have not taken it over,” Gudeljevic stressed.

EULEX Spokeswoan Irina Gudeljević told Tanjug that EULEX would supervise the case.
