EU needs Serbia, Estonian president says

Estonia is a proponent of Serbia getting EU candidate status, Estonian President Toomas Hendrik Ilves told Serbian President Boris Tadic in New York. “The EU needs Serbia and Serbia needs the EU,” Ilves said during Thursday night's meeting, Itar-Tass has reported.
