Serbian President Boris Tadic pointed out Friday that Serbia was interested in strengthening political and economic relations with the U.S. Tadic met with U.S. Senators Ben Cardine and Jeanne Shaheen, who are taking part in the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly session in Belgrade, and noted the two countries had achieved excellent results in cooperation on fighting global terrorism and organized crime, the Serbian president's office said in a release.
