The OSCE Parliamentary Assembly (PA) has continued its annual session in Belgrade on Friday. The third day of work will see continuation of sittings of three committees - the General Committee on Political Affairs and Security, Committee on Economic Affairs, Science, Technology and Environment, and Committee on Democracy, Human Rights and Humanitarian Questions, as well as projection of a documentary film on the Holocaust. OSCE PA continues annual session in Belgrade Serbian President Boris Tadic conferred Friday with Chairman-in-Office of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) and Lithuanian Foreign Minister Audronius Azubalis on Lithuania's OSCE chairmanship and Serbia's cooperation with the OSCE Mission in Belgrade, the president's press service released. The Serbian president expressed satisfaction over the staging of the annual session of the OSCE PA in Belgrade, the release notes. The topic of this year's OSCE PA session is "Strengthening the OSCE's Effectiveness and Efficiency - A new start after the Astana Summit." The Standing Committee of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly voted Wednesday to approve 25 resolutions for consideration in the three general committees, including a resolution submitted by the Serbian delegation on Combat against Illicit Trade in Human Organs in Kosovo-Metohija.
