Demark's parliament on Friday voted in support of a government plan to reintroduce controls on the borders of this EU member-state. A motion submitted by the opposition to reject the idea was supported by 50 MPs, but 55 were against. Denmark announced in May that it planned to introduce controls along its borders with Germany and Sweden.
