Deputy High Representative in Bosnia Roderick Moore says it's discouraging that nine months after the elections Bosnia has no government at the state level. Moore said that this carries further adverse implications for Bosnia. Bosnia without government 9 months after elections "It is evident that Bosnia is lagging behind its neighbors, particularly in the last six months. Montenegro is an EU candidate country, Serbia has forwarded the questionnaire to the European Commission and expects its positive opinion, and Croatia is quite close to EU accession." "On the other hand, Bosnia has not made any progress," Moore told the Sarajevo-based daily Dnevni Avaz. He underlined that the Office of the High Representative (OHR) would like Bosnia to move forward on its path towards the EU and NATO as other neighboring countries. "Within its power, the OHR will encourage and stimulate Bosnia leaders to make tough calls. However, we are foreigners, and we are here for some time. Bosnia citizens are the ones to impose that pressure, and we will be there to back them," Moore said.
