The Russian government recently put Serbia on its list of countries that are facing "complex social and political situation" solely because of Kosovo. Beta news agency reports that the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs also moved to increase salaries for its personnel serving in Serbia, but that only those located in Kosovo will be eligible for the pay raise. The source added that the government decision was an internal document "devoid of politics", that served exclusively to regulate internal issues within Russia's state apparatus. "There's no need to worry. Nothing has changed," the diplomat told the Serbian reporter. The Russian list includes 22 countries, among them ours, listed as "the Republic of Serbia (Kosovo)".
