President Boris Tadic on Friday opened a new factory of German car cable maker Leoni in the Serbian town of Prokuplje. There he said that he saw "clear signs of economic recovery and that better days are ahead for Serbia". Tadic sees "signs of economic recovery" Tadic said he was "aware of how difficult life is for people in Serbia right now", as well as that "not all problems can be solved immediately", but he advised achieving results by - "working together". Addressing the company employees, he said that employment has risen in the past two months for the first time in a long while, and said that government would do even more to attract foreign investments. "We will start looking for new investors around the world with great energy," Tadic said. Tadic congratulated Minister of Economy and Regional Development Nebojsa Ciric, his predecessor Mladjan Dinkic, the Prokuplje town authorities and Leoni workers on their efforts to develop the Prokuplje factory according to the plan devised prior to its opening two years ago. Tadić said he was "aware of how difficult life is for people in Serbia right now", as well as that "not all problems can be solved immediately", but he advised achieving results by - "working together".
