“Priština may discuss partition of Kosovo”

Kosovo Deputy FM Ibrahim Gashi has said that Pristina's delegation would not abandon the dialogue if partition of Kosovo became a topic of the talks. He said that Pristina would risk losing international support if it decided to abandon the talks. “Pristina may discuss partition of Kosovo” “If Belgrade proposes an idea such as partition of Kosovo than we have nothing to fear and abandon the negotiating table,” the Kosovo deputy foreign minster told Pristina-based Radio Television Kosovo last night. He warned that abandoning of the dialogue could mean loss of international community's support and pointed out that five EU member states did not recognize Kosovo's independence. Belgrade officials have pointed out several times that all issues, including the partition of Kosovo, could be discussed during the Belgrade-Pristina talks.
