Serbia's national air carrier Jat Airways announced that its Copenhagen and Gothenburg flights scheduled for today had been canceled.

Serbia's national air carrier Jat Airways announced that its Copenhagen and Gothenburg flights scheduled for today had been canceled. The air traffic disruption comes after an ash cloud formed from an erupting Iceland volcano spread over some northwest Europe airspaces. Copenhagen, Gothenburg flights canceled The Belgrade-Gothenburg-Stockholm flight will go ahead, but without the stopover in Gothenburg, Jat Airways clarified. That plane was scheduled to depart Belgrade at 14:55 CET, while the Belgrade-bound flight from Stockholm is scheduled for 18:25 CET, also on Tuesday. The company also said that it would continue to inform its passengers and the public about any changes to the flight schedules caused by the Iceland volcanic activity.

The Belgrade-Gothenburg-Stockholm flight will go ahead, but without the stopover in Gothenburg, Jat Airways clarified.

That plane was scheduled to depart Belgrade at 14:55 CET, while the Belgrade-bound flight from Stockholm is scheduled for 18:25 CET, also on Tuesday.

The company also said that it would continue to inform its passengers and the public about any changes to the flight schedules caused by the Iceland volcanic activity.
