PM meets with visiting Polish counterpart

Serbian Prime Minister Mirko Cvetkovic on Friday in Belgrade met with visiting Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk. "Poland will do everything it can during its forthcoming EU presidency to support Serbia's EU integration," announced Cvetkovic. PM meets with visiting Polish counterpart Tusk confirmed his country's readiness to help Serbia on its path towards Europe, adding that all Western Balkan countries aspiring to EU membership have the right to realize this goal completely. Referring to the process of ratification of the Stabilization and Association Agreement (SAA) in the Polish parliament, Cvetkovic expressed his conviction that Poland will not be the last country to ratify it. Cvetkovic and Tusk also noted that economic and political relations between the two countries are good, but, as Cvetkovic specified, far below the needs of the two countries. The program of the Tusk's visit to Belgrade also includes a meeting with Serbian President Boris Tadic. He is also scheduled to visit Montenegro and Croatia. Tusk and Cvetkovic in Belgrade (Beta)
