Serbia now has 77 political parties
A total of 77 political parties are currently registered in Serbia - the latest addition to the Registry of Political Parties happened in early April.

A total of 77 political parties are currently registered in Serbia - the latest addition to the Registry of Political Parties happened in early April. The newest officially registered political party is the Bosniak Democratic Community, which was founded on December 25, 2010. Serbia now has 77 political parties It is one of eleven ethnic minority parties from the southwestern Sandzak region, which has a large Muslim community. In 2010, Serbia got three new parties, including one whose founders dubbed it, "None of the Above", and others, including the Pulse of Serbia and the Party of Vojvodina Slovaks. The Communist Party was registered in January 2011. Before the new Law on Political Parties came into effect, setting the requirement for the existing parties to register again, the Serbian political scene was made up of over 600 political organizations.
