Veteran agent new Israeli security chief

Israel's prime minister Binyamin Netanyahu has chosen a veteran agent Yoram Cohen of the Shin Bet internal security service as the next head of the agency.

Israel's prime minister Binyamin Netanyahu has chosen a veteran agent Yoram Cohen of the Shin Bet internal security service as the next head of the agency. Cohen will replace outgoing director Yuval Diskin, who is due to step down on May 15 after six years.
