When asked whether the fact that former Energy Minister Petar Skundric needed to renounce his position has damaged relations within the Serbian Socialist Party (SPS), Dacic said: “No. It was clear to everybody that the decision was imposed, because the government was supposed to be reshuffled and that meant one government member from the SPS less.” “Since the energy was merged with the infrastructure it was logical that Milutin Mrkonjic remained minister. Dacic also said that the coalition with the Democratic Party (DS) was working and that relations with the G17 Plus were fine after Mladjan Dinkic had resigned from the government.
