KFOR withdraws from Kosovo-Macedonia border
KFOR completely withdrew from the border between Kosovo and Macedonia on Saturday, leaving the border in the hands of the Kosovo police (KPS).

KFOR completely withdrew from the border between Kosovo and Macedonia on Saturday, leaving the border in the hands of the Kosovo police (KPS). The ceremony that marked the event was attended by KFOR Commander Erhard Buehler and a number of officials of the Kosovo government and the EU Mission in Kosovo (EULEX). KFOR withdraws from Kosovo-Macedonia border KFOR had already turned over a part of the border to the Kosovo police, so today's event completes the transition. According to Buehler, KFOR is also preparing to turn over the control of the border with Montenegro to the Kosovo police. The administrative line with Serbia will remain in KFOR’s control.
