Council of Europe rapporteur Dick Marty will address on Thursday in Strasbourg the European Parliament (EP) Foreign Affairs Committee. The topic will be the investigation of allegations of inhuman treatment of people and illicit trafficking in human organs in Kosovo, the EP announced on its website. Marty to address EP Foreign Affairs Committee The Council of Europe Parliamentary Assembly (PACE) adopted Dick Marty's report and based its resolution on organ trafficking on the document in January, calling for an investigation into the allegations that Kosovo Albanian KLA kidnapped Serb and other civilians and traded in their organs. 169 PACE members voted in favor and eight against the resolution, while 14 abstained. The European Parliament is currently in session in Strasbourg.
