The Kosovo assembly will debate the dialogue with Serbia tomorrow. It is expected that the assembly will adopt the resolution which will determine a framework for the Kosovo delegation. Kosovo MPs to debate negotiations tomorrow Head of the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) parliamentary group Adem Grabovci has stated that all parliamentary groups will prepare a joint resolution. “A basic framework and subjects of talks need to be determined in the Kosovo assembly. With this resolution the assembly must also demand from the government to occasionally inform the assembly about the course of the talks,” he stressed. The Self-Determination Movement has, however, announced that it will oppose the talks with Serbia. Self-Determination Movement Spokesman Erzen Vraniqi has stated that it still has not been decided which steps the movement will take, adding that its MPs will “express their position against the talks with Serbia” during the assembly session. The Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK) has, on the other hand, announced that it will support the resolution. “We support the idea that the Kosovo assembly should pass a resolution that will contain all elements that will make sure that the talks are in the interest of the Kosovo citizens,” AAK deputy leader Ahmet Isufi pointed out.
