According to unofficial information, the party has decided to merge the Culture Ministry and the Youth and Sports Ministry and that Snezana Samardzic-Markovic will head it. In that case, Culture Minister Nebojsa Bradic would be offered a position of the state secretary in the newly formed ministry. Dinkic, however, told Politika that such decision had not been made yet. “It’s about people, you cannot decide about it before you agree on the principles of the government reshuffle with the others,” he was quoted as saying. He said that it was not good for his party to be the first one to state its opinion on the government reshuffle and that the Democratic Party (DS), which had the largest number of ministries, should be the first. “I told Boris Tadic that the DS and G17 Plus should reshuffle the ministries they have even if the Socialists do not agree to cut down the number of their ministers,” Dinkic stressed.
