Oliver Ivanovic has dismissed a newspaper report linking him to the 2000 murder of ten ethnic Albanians in Kosovo as "utter nonsense". Albanian language daily Koha Ditore said in an article on Thursday that Ivanovic was suspected of the crime in an UNMIK police report. State secretary dismisses accusations The Ministry for Kosovo state secretary commented on the article by saying that it was politically motivated. "These accusations are utterly nonsensical and baseless, and always come at a time when I'm increasingly criticizing the situation in Kosovo and Metohija, or when I speak about the need to - such as is the case now with Dick Marty's report on human organ trafficking in Kosovo - clear up crimes," said Ivanovic. The state secretary noted that the case mentioned by the newspaper was investigated in 2002, and that an prosecutor with the UN mission in the province, UNMIK, decided not to raise indictments.
