"It is too early and somewhat pointless to comment on Hague Tribunal Chief Prosecutor Serge Brammertz's next report." “It is difficult to say what is going to happen in June, because it is still far away,” Head of Serbia's Office for Cooperation with the Hague Tribunal Dusan Ignjatovic told Tanjug. “Too early to comment on Brammertz’s report” "The thing we do know, through his earlier reports and direct contact, is that he is unhappy with the search for the fugitives," Ignjatovic noted, alluding to the two remaining Hague fugitives, Ratko Mladic and Goran Hadzic. “However, most of the cooperation with the Hague Tribunal consists of technical issues, like access to documents, witnesses and archives, and Brammertz has described that part as very good,” he pointed out. “The fugitives are important, but it would be wrong to reduce Serbia's entire cooperation to Mladic's arrest," he remarked, adding that he did not intend to diminish the issue in any way. According to Ignjatovic, Serbia has extradited 43 people so far, and only two remain. "A completely negative report would mean that Serbia is not cooperating at all, which is not true," he stressed.
