Deputies of the Serbian parliament today in Belgrade adopted the draft state budget for 2011, prepared by the government. 128 MPs voted in favor of the proposal which envisages a budget deficit of RSD 120.5bn (EUR 1.14bn). Parliament adopts state budget for 2011

Speaker Slavica Đukić-Dejanović confirmed for B92 earlier today that the vote would take place this afternoon, ahead of midnight's legal deadline.

Late on Tuesday night, the debate on the budget, bylaws and amendments was completed.

MPs were also scheduled to vote on proposed changes to a set of judiciary laws, as well as on tax and financial legislation.
