The Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) has urged the Serbian judiciary to initiate proceedings against Kosovo PM Hashim Thaci, suspected of organ trade in Kosovo. This should be done despite the fact that Thaci is not within reach of Serbian authorities, the SNS said. SNS: Serbia should indict Thaci SNS MP Bozidar Delic told the press that the Serbian judiciary needed to initiate proceedings against the Kosovo PM, who was accused of human organ trafficking in the report by Council of Europe Rapporteur Dick Marty, despite the fact that Thaci was not within reach of Serbian authorities. “If this is not done, the citizens should initiate proceedings to help raise the indictment against Thaci,” he said. Delic is not optimistic that the Council of Europe resolution, expected to be adopted at the end of January, will be enough to make the powerful states, which support the Kosovo government, decide to bring the culprits to justice.
