President Boris Tadic said late on Tuesday that the talks between Belgrade and Pristina should start with technical issues. This, he told an audience in Novi Sad, regardless of the report of Special Rapporteur of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) Dick Marty. President urges start of Kosovo talks The first issues should be the fate of missing persons and other daily life issues troubling both Serbs and Albanians, Tadic noted. The talks should not be delayed until the investigation of accusations made by Marty is completed, he said. A wrong impression was given to the public that the talks between Belgrade and Pristina should be conducted at the level of presidents and prime ministers, he said. It is impossible to say now when key political issues will be on the agenda, he said. The dialogue should start and problems should be resolved, regardless of accusations made against Hashim Thaci, as both Serbs and Albanians want to know the fate of their missing kin, Tadic emphasized.
