Head the National Council for Cooperation with the Hague Tribunal Rasim Ljajic will discuss Dick Marty’s report on Monday in Strasbourg with top EU officials. Ljajic will meet with CoE Deputy Secretary General Maud de Boer-Buquicchio and Commissioner for Human Rights Thomas Hammarberg, his office said in a statement. The CoE Parliamentary Assembly Committee on Legal Affairs and Human Rights adopted a report and accompanying resolution on the illicit trade in human organs in Kosovo and Albania written by Marty, whom Kosovo Prime Minister Hashim Thaci is threatening to sue over allegations of his and Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) involvement in the crimes. The report, which labels Thaci as the leader of a group which was involved in organ trafficking, was passed by a two-thirds majority.
