Opposition party "to sack high official"

The opposition Serb Progressive Party (SNS) might dismiss deputy chairman of its main board (GO) Božidar Delić over different views on the Hague Tribunal.

The opposition Serb Progressive Party (SNS) might dismiss deputy chairman of its main board (GO) Bozidar Delic over different views on the Hague Tribunal. The SNS presidency will decide on Delic’s fate next week and chances are that he will be "relieved of his duty", daily Vecernje Novosti reported. Opposition party "to sack high official" The newspaper's sources claim that Delic and top SNS officials recently clashed over the severa issues. According to unofficial information, the former general is not happy that some of his people have been pushed aside in certain SNS boards and he has been pointing this out for the past several weeks. However, "the drop that spilled the glass" was Delic’s recent interview with a daily in which he expressed diametrically different position on cooperation with the Hague Tribunal, compared to of SNS leader Tomislav Nikolic. Delic was not in the mood to discuss the reports, noting only that the speculation was "nonsense". “I’m far from being satisfied with the way some things are going in the party,” he added. The party also did not wish to comment on the reports about Delic's imminent depature as the party GO deputy chair.
