Kosovo Albanian PM Hashim Thaci has underscored that the dialogue with Belgrade will, most likely, start in February. He also said that the Serb-populated north of Kosovo will not be a topic of the talks. "Dialogue with Belgrade in February" In an interview published by the Vienna-based Der Standard, Thaci denied the allegations of President Boris Tadic that Pristina is stalling the opening of the dialogue. "Kosovo's future has been opened in the past ten years only. Everything is now being planned in Brussels and Washington, and Pristina will play its part on time," underscored Thaci. According to him, missing persons, coordination of measures against organized crime, infrastructure and energy will be the main topics of the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue. Thaci was also quoted as saying that "internal organization of Kosovo will be discussed with Belgrade under no circumstances". He went on to tell the paper that "the territory of Kosovo was internationally recognized". "I am optimistic that Belgrade will now change its position toward the Serb citizens of Kosovo," Thaci said, in reference to Serbs in the north who reject the authority of the government in Pristina, and the Kosovo Albanian UDI. "You cannot be constructive with Brussels, and very destructive with Kosovo. Kosovo is on the European agenda and I believe they (Belgrade) have understood that. This process will end with a mutual recognition of Serbia and Kosovo," said Thaci. Thaci addresses a recent party gathering in Pristina (Beta)
