Kosovo Serbs call to boycott of elections The delegates believe that Serbs "must not participate in the electoral procedure, because that would imply that they have recognized Kosovo's independence". At a session held in northern Kosovska Mitrovica, the delegates "condemned the registration of the so-called (United) Serb List for the forthcoming elections", said a statement. In conclusions drawn following the meeting, the delegates noted that "official Belgrade should dismiss from government office the heads of the Serb List Radmila Trajkovic and Randjel Nojkic". They also requested that Serbian President Boris Tadic should resign, because of his “the dishonest, problematic and treasonous policy” regarding Kosovo-Metohija. The association officials requested from the Serbian government to "withhold further confidence in EULEX", and restore previous competences to UNMIK. They also called on UNMIK Chief Lamberto Zannier to respect legitimate representatives of the Serb population in Kosovo and Metohija. A view of Kosovska Mitrovica (FoNet, file)
